Bee in Your Bonnet, my summer stitch. As you can see, I chose a different fabric instead of the 30ct WDW beige. This is 32ct and the coverage is much better. Thanks for your recommendations!

TUSAL, FNSI, a little finish

First up is TUSAL:

For practice I finish finished this guy before finishing the Christmas Ornament Exchange, which I'm happy to say is in the hands of the USPS and is going allll the way to the east coast.

I just attached the ribbon to the top and stuck the three pins in front. I'll find or make a ribbon bow to put at the top 'cause its looking kind of bare. Here's the side:

More gold beads stuck in at the bottom! Love pins, they cover a multitude of sins!

I'm off to buy groceries, curtains, curtain rods, new sneakers/tennis shoes, DMC at Michaels. I think my DMC list is about 30 skeins and I hope they are on sale right now! Otherwise, I'll have to buy 10 or so at a time. I feel for you ladies overseas who are having to shell out a lot of money for DMC. I saw someone having a giveaway of DMC for stitchers not in the USA and I think that's a great idea!

Post-FNSI, a little stash, a cutie pie

Good Morning, or Good Afternoon, wherever you're at!

I stitched with the FNSI last night and I stitched on Early Wtches..

She's coming along. The self-talk worked but only with this one! I have yet to frog a portion of Wicked but I'll do that this weekend. Time is running out though for Halloween finishes!

I stashed a little bit...

I just had to have Jack's Bash. There is some over one stitching on it but I'll man up and just do it! The two fabrics are for two designs in the newest JCS Ornie mag. The two flosses are for my exchange project. This chart and the two ornaments are going to be part of the DUCJ2015 (I think that's the correct acronym) in honor of SoCal Deb that Linda over at Stitching with my Furbabies is starting in the new year. I'm not sure I can do the SAL clear into February but I can the 31 day start. I'm excited about it! I've made my list, most of the projects have their fabric and flosses, and some I need to buy the supplies. Only after Stitch from Stash ends though, lol!! I have the first 15 days ready to roll. Here's Jack's Bash at a better angle..

I follow this blog called The Spotted Hare, which is on my sidebar at the bottom of the blog list. Lorianne creates the cutest characters out of Mohair. She recently had a Halloween show and I bought this cutie pie..

FNSI or Friday Night Sew-In, I worked on the Scary Sampler by LK while watching the last Downton Abbey Season 4 disc, boohoo! I can't wait for Season 5..But here's the sampler, which is also a Turtle Trot WIP..

That top photo you can see just how little fabric I have left for framing. I'm not sure if I'm going to put in the satin stitched border at the bottom like the top. Oh, and I posted these same pictures over at Flickr under the name yavagirl. I'm not sure I did it correctly but they are there.

Today I'll be sending off my exchange package to the recipient. Exciting and I hope she'll enjoy what I've sent.
