Hi everyone! This is the 2nd time attempting to make a blog post. I hope this one loads. I have all sorts of stuff to show so let's get going.
Up first is progress on WaBH or Winter at Beacon Hill..
Up first is progress on WaBH or Winter at Beacon Hill..
and after..
This is the only WIP I've been working on. I've added quite a few things. More
exciting is the lighthouse about to be just to the right of the girl in yellow. I will
keep stitching until May 1.
I finished my Year of Starts 2019 item..and now I can't find a picture! It was the Shepherds
Bush ornament Do You Hear. I'll FFO and show it sometime later.
I had a few FFOs too. First is that little ornament freebie by Midnight Stitching..
Thanks Robin for knowing who the designer was. It turned out cute! These round
ornaments are fun to put together. I believe it's called Snowman Christmas Quaker.
The back fabric is a red and white stripe.
This next one is a cube. It was completed except for a topping. I finally went out and
bought red and green see through ribbon (I'm sure there's a better name but I can't
think of it right now!), made a now out of the two and it is now totally finished..
It is perfect. I owe it to Vonna who uses thus type of ribbon on her cubes. Another look..
I have light green hat pins holding the whole thing down. Just pretty!
Some of you may remember me talking about this old WIP I have and that I lost all
the floss and the graph. I went on eBay and found a replacement kit because it is
a kit originally. When I got it, I found that some of the floss were different colors, like
someone tried to match colors. I just said doggone it and it went into limbo. Fast
forward to last week, someone on Stitch Maynia has a 20 year old table runner WIP
and she also lost the graph and floss. Someone found the kit for her. I was inspired to
pull this out..
Season of The Heart, on Aida. It's just too cute to toss. I matched floss on the fabric to DMC and it's a go, for Maynia!
Last but not least is the giveaway I won at Carol/Stitching Dreams blog. How exciting! She made up
her handmade cording and I was lucky enough to win!
So pretty and the card is cute! Thanks Carol, I can't wait to find finished things to use your
cording on!
That is it. Next week I will post about my Maynia stitchings. I've made some changes
to my plans. I can't believe it's almost May already!
Take care everyone!
