Hi everyone! This is the 2nd time attempting to make a blog post. I hope this one loads. I have all sorts of stuff to show so let's get going.

Up first is progress on WaBH or Winter at Beacon Hill..

and after..
This is the only WIP I've been working on. I've added quite a few things. More
exciting is the lighthouse about to be just to the right of the girl in yellow. I will
keep stitching until May 1.

I finished my Year of Starts 2019 item..and now I can't find a picture! It was the Shepherds
Bush ornament Do You Hear. I'll FFO and show it sometime later.

I had a few FFOs too. First is that little ornament freebie by Midnight Stitching..
Thanks Robin for knowing who the designer was. It turned out cute! These round
ornaments are fun to put together. I believe it's called Snowman Christmas Quaker.

The back fabric is a red and white stripe.

This next one is a cube. It was completed except for a topping. I finally went out and
bought red and green see through ribbon (I'm sure there's a better name but I can't
think of it right now!), made a now out of the two and it is now totally finished..
It is perfect. I owe it to Vonna who uses thus type of ribbon on her cubes. Another look..

I have light green hat pins holding the whole thing down. Just pretty!

Some of you may remember me talking about this old WIP I have and that I lost all
the floss and the graph. I went on eBay and found a replacement kit because it is
a kit originally. When I got it, I found that some of the floss were different colors, like
someone tried to match colors. I just said doggone it and it went into limbo. Fast
forward to last week, someone on Stitch Maynia has a 20 year old table runner WIP
and she also lost the graph and floss. Someone found the kit for her. I was inspired to
pull this out..
Season of The Heart, on Aida. It's just too cute to toss. I matched floss on the fabric to DMC and it's a go, for Maynia!

Last but not least is the giveaway I won at Carol/Stitching Dreams blog. How exciting! She made up
her handmade cording and I was lucky enough to win!

So pretty and the card is cute! Thanks Carol, I can't wait to find finished things to use your
cording on!

That is it. Next week I will post about my Maynia stitchings. I've made some changes
to my plans. I can't believe it's almost May already!

Take care everyone!

A Little of This, A Little of That

Greetings from a very windy central Arizona. I've got the mother of all headaches right now so I'll keep this short and sweet. I have WIP progress, of course, a new start, and new stash. Let's get started!

Since yesterday was the 19th, I started a new piece for the Year of Starts 2019 on Stitch Maynia..
Please excuse my shadow at the right. This little cutie is Do You Hear by Shepherd's
Bush in the 2012 JCS Christmas ornaments issue. The lyrics of my favorite carol, so I had to
stitch it! On mystery linen, I'm using 1 over 2. I feel like I can finish this tomorrow so after
posting, I'll get back to it.

My progress on my old WIPs is progressing! Here is Early Witches..
There is the Pickety Witch. I think she's the creepiest out of the 4 witches with her
pumpkin head. Next witch up will be Marie Leveau of New Orleans and the rest of
the borders and Early Witches will be done. Can't wait!

The next WIP I worked on is Winter at Beacon House or WaBH. No picture since all
I stitched was a few Smyrna snowflakes, 3 more 1 over 1 birds, and a few lines of snow.
This thing is so big that a few stitches just don't look like much. I also took a week off
from stitching to read one of the Outlander novels and that was nice.

I picked up some stash..
Paper Snowflakes and Here A Peep by WTN&T, and Fancey Blackett Tea for Two by
Pineberry Lane. I love Fancey Blackett and have 2 stitched pieces in my
portfolio. I also bought two pieces of fabric that should arrive today.

I had a tiny finish too but I don't remember the name..
I know some of you might recognize this. It's a freebie that's been in my freebie stash
for quite awhile. Cute little snowman peeking through. I used that piece of fabric it's on
just to get rid of it!

Well, that was fast! I have Maynia plans for this year so I'll be back at the end of
this month to show you what I'm doing. I'll have 10 new starts and work on
9 WIPs. Some of those WIPs are near finished so I'm excited for that.

Nothing else going on in my life right now. I have to make a quick trip
into Phoenix this coming Tuesday and I'm definitely going to TRY to stop in at the Attic
Needleworks and have a look see! I know, dangerous! If I buy anything it'll be a piece of
fabric, a fat quarter. My daughter is my chauffeur so she might
'accidentally' drive right past the exit! I'll keep my eyes peeled!

Take care everyone! Thanks for stopping by:)
