After a few days of some serious thinking, I have decided to stop blogging. Why, you ask? Because no one is reading my blog anymore and/or commenting. I know a few of you do, like Linda, and Jo. I thank you two for that. I will miss it.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sad to read this, Shelly, but I do understand. I'm thinking of stopping soon, too. It is a lot of work putting together a blog post and if no one is reading it, why bother? I will miss you and hope you'll still visit me as long as I'm blogging. I've so enjoyed seeing your work and really admire your finishes and I really feel like I've done my best to comment. ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that you are thinking of stopping blogging! I do comment on every blog that comments on mine and some more too. But this is my favourite form of social media not being on Instagram.

ReplyDeleteI am just now getting back into reading blogs after our move and I'm sorry to hear you're "retiring". I know from looking at my blog stats that only a tiny fraction of readers ever comment, and I think that's pretty common. Not sure why. I have some thoughts about it--maybe I should do a post!
